International Association on the Genesis of Ore Deposits

The International Association on the Genesis of Ore Deposits (IAGOD) was established in 1963 to promote international cooperation and increase knowledge in the field of the genesis of ore deposits and is affiliated with the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS). The society organizes quadrennial symposiums and cosponsors sessions at the International Geological Congress and SGA Biennial Meetings. The IAGOD Working Groups and Commissions promote ore deposits research and sponsor an international speaker series. Membership includes reduced fees at our meetings, discounted subscriptions to our flagship journal Ore Geology Reviews and other publications, and a subscription to Elements. IAGOD members also have free online access to the journal Global Tectonics and Metallogeny.
