Mineralogical Association of Canada

The Mineralogical Association of Canada (MAC) is an international non-profit organization founded in 1955 to promote and advance the knowledge of mineralogy and the related disciplines of crystallography, petrology, geochemistry, and economic geology. Membership benefits include a subscription to Elements, an optional subscription to The Canadian Mineralogist, a 20% discount on short course volumes and special publications, and a reduced fee at our annual meeting featuring, scientific sessions, short courses, workshops and field trips. We also organise summer schools, and support young scientists via scholarships, travel grants and sponsorship of student’s conferences. Through our medals and awards, we recognize excellence in mineralogy and allied fields.
