The International Association of GeoChemistry (IAGC) has been a pre-eminent international geochemical organization since 1967, with the objective to foster the advancement of geochemistry in the broadest sense. The IAGC’s primary scientific activities occur through the official journal, Applied Geochemistry, and six specialized working groups: Water-Rock Interaction, Applied Isotope Geochemistry, Geochemistry of the Earth’s Surface, Urban Geochemistry, Biogeochemistry, and Environmental Geochemistry. These groups host meetings around the world every 2-3 years and provide a great opportunity for students and senior scientists alike to discuss their science in a more intimate environment than larger meetings.
